The main job of this project was planning and promoting policy for the recycling of municipal waste. It needed to research the management and trend of the foreign municipal waste for finding the best suggestion of the future policy. Analyzing the characteristic of the municipal waste, current situation of waste cleaning and government’s policy, this project supported the advices including priority for waste reduction and recycling (source recycling), promoting energy recycling (energy reuse) and mining the amount of watse. It also assisted the administrative plan and supported assistant service of municipal waste recycling. The administrative plan “Municipal Waste Recycling and Promoting Project” has been developed for five years (2018-2022). It will have four main jobs which are Waste Source Reduction and Recycling Product Promoting, Waste Classification and Recycling Promoting, Replacing the Refuse Vehicles and Promoting Municipal Solid Waste Reduction and Pay-by-Bag Trash Collection Policy. By the country-wide movement of waste reduction and recycling, we can implement source reduction and recycling for the municipal waste. We can also replace the refuse vehicles and optimize the recycling or waste treatment facilities. From those policies, we can make a better world such as great efficiency of recycling, reducing the needs of incineration, decreasing the greenhouse gas emissions and building a sustainable society.
